The Pale Whale Canoe Fleet on the Clarion River in Cook Forest
The Pale Whale Canoe Fleet is the finest in Cook Forest. With our durable Grumman aluminum canoes and accessories, you will be in good hands for your journey down the Wild and Scenic designated Clarion River.
We are the largest, oldest, best equipped canoe livery in Cook Forest. There is ample parking, clean restrooms and changing rooms. Cooksburg Dry Goods store and Cooksburg Cafe are on premise for your canoeing supplies and snacks.
One canoe will hold two adults and two small children or three adults. The minimum age is two years old.
Paddle, life jackets, and transportation are included in the price. Life jackets must be worn by children. Two paddles per canoe.
Group rates are available for 8 canoes or more. Free litter bags and trash disposal to help us keep the river clean.
4 Mile Trip
This is our shortest trip and probably the most popular. Approximate time on the river: 1 1/2 hours.
