Cook Forest In Winter
Whether you are staying in a cabin for a week or just visiting for the day, Cook Forest State Park offers many exciting winter activities. Hiking in the Cathedral area of the State Park is an unbelievable experience during the winter months. There is an ice skating pond nearly a half of a mile from our cabins. The pond includes a shelter, fire ring and skate rental. They also have rental skates and skis available. Next to that is a sled riding slope that is great fun for all ages. Also, there are many trails for cross country skiing. Skis can also be rented.
If you’d rather stay indoors, you’ll have no problem staying cozy inside our heated cabins. Start a fire and enjoy the quietness or the company of friends and family.
